According to my internal source and ASUS Taiwan Official Website, They will be launch new type of Padfone S which have 3GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage. But the main Processor will be same as the old one, Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AB (Quad Core @ 2.3GHz)

TWRP Recovery for ASUS Padfone S T00N PF500KL

Requirements:

Rooted Padfone S

Terminal Manager (Download from Playstore)

Backup your data first before perform this action.

Download TWRP Recovery img:

Download TWRP asus_t00n_twrp_2_7_1_1.img Here

Instructions:

Download file above and place it to internal memory
Open Terminal Manager and Type:

dd if=asus_t00n_twrp_2_7_1_1.img of=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/recovery

Then re-opened to recovery, after the reboot, when the ASUS logo disappears about 60 seconds and so on, press power button, you can see the TWRP menu Hello. I have not verified all the features, free to try again, please remember to interested backup your mobile phone data.

Why the application hangs or loss of data while inserting PadFone to Station?

One of the main features of the PadFone series is the Dynamic Display technology. In short it’s the switching between the screens while still staying in the active app without the loss of data. It enables seamless transfer of applications from the phone to the tablet.

If the application is abnormal while inserting PadFone to Station, please try to enable "Keep all applications alive". You may refer to the steps below for more information.

Steps

1. Tap on "Application"

2. Tap on "Settings" option.

3. Select "ASUS customized settings" from Settings menu.

4. Select "PadFone Settings"

5. Select "Dynamic display switch list"

6. Find the app which you want to enable Dynamic display and check the box.

7. Slide the "Keep all applications alive" switch to the "ON" position.
