QWOP the sprint games available for download for Android devices for $0.99 (Rs.56.00)

QWOP the original flash based sprint game has fallen to the lure of Android.  Noodlecake today launched the Android version of the game on Google Play for Rs.56.00    The game is a very good entertainment combined with skills and is a must have if you are into gaming especially on mobiles.

You play Qwop in the game and have to finish a race.  There are two touch pads given on the Android version as seen in the image above.  Your objective is to control Qwop's movements with these two controls and at the same time use the thumb in a clock work motion to keep Qwop running forward.  Beware if Qwop falls down you your finished.  

Those who have used the flash based version of the game will remember that the controls on PC were through the keys Q and W for Qwop's right leg and O and P for left.  The participation is very very entertaining as you will fall for umpteenth time till you get the hang of controlling Qwop.  In the meantime you may forget that Qwop has a race to finish.

Got Mobile and a PC, play Skee Ball within the browser on your mobile for free with the new Google Experiment 'Roll It'

Google's new experiment called Roll It gives you chance to play a arcade game called Skee.    And the requirements are rather simple and free.  All you need is a smartphone and a PC with Chrome browser installed and you are on! The games allows you to pit yourself against two other players.  The aim of Skee is to roll the  ball into an inclined lane in order to make them fall into holes that have points. The holes further away have the most points while the ones closer and easier to target have fewer points.

Try this new game by heading out to Roll It on your PC and generating a code.  After you get the code, start Chrome on your mobiles and head over to g.co/rollit.  Pair your friends phone and tilt the phone to choose number of players you want to play against. Done that, now to play you need to aim from your phone and then swing it in order to aim. The game guarantees a few fun hours on a boring day indoors with a couple of friends. 

Unlike most other Chrome Experiment games, you can play this game solo also.  This is the second game in succession to Racer that Google has released after its Google I/O.

Battlestone from Zynga available free for Android and iOS devices, get it now

Zynga  today released a brand new game for iOS and Android devices, titled 'Battlestone'.  The game play involves hack and slash RPG much similar like the Diablo and Torchlight.  But Zynga claims that the game has a unique fighting mechanic.  

And what it says is true, the game comes with a unique approach for combats.  Instead of mashing your enemy up, you have to swipe the enemy till its dead.   This means swiping either an attack pattern, or even deciding the order of enemies you attack by swiping among the enemy ranks. 

The tagline of the game says it all: Swipe away evil. The characters in the game have skills that revolve around the mechanic of swiping. For example, after starting a whirlwind-styled attack, players can draw a path on the ground to make the character move along it.  The more deeper you go into the game, the more characters you can collect.  And each one has a unique ability to help you out.   The ability to summon and upgrade heroes is meant to add a level of tactics to the game as you will require heros with different abilities to destroy different enemies.

Temple Run 2 gets new maps, power ups, graphics and new DEATH to the game both for Android and iOS

If Rovio comes up with a update for Angry Birds Seasons Seasons, can Imangi Studios be left behind.  No, Siree, it has gone ahead with a major rehaul to its Temple Run 2 for iOS and Android.  The new update brings in new graphics, more obstacles, more power ups, and achievements and obstacles and wait a minute, New Death.  The new map gives the users a endless running game which can be fun for a couple of days till either your fingers tire or you neck gets cramped.

The new map, called The Narrows, has a treacherous new terrain added to the game that is bound to make avoiding obstacles far more challenging for players. The terrain has a series of narrow planks that are difficult to negotiate and if you slip you are a goner.  

The new Death :  You could also meet with an untimely death through two new ways. The path could crumble right before your eyes if you're not fast enough or you could come in the way of spinning saw blades. Sounds eerie!

Imangi Studios has also given away lot of free in-game money in this update which can be used for buying in-App stuff.  

On the technical side, Imangi Studios has also fixed a couple of important features of the game. Besides these bug and performance fixes, it has also patched up the skip button crash that seemed to be affecting a lot of users.

Play Google's Racer using 5 phones using iOS and Android with Chrome

This is one experiment which all mobile phone users should love.  Google had just launched a new experimental game with Chrome. Called the Racer, it uses the Google Chrome so no matter if you are using Android or iOS you can play this racing game involving multiple devices. 

Google displayed this game yesterday at Google I/O in order to showcase the Chrome's ability sync the Android and iOS devices together.  And sure it did!  The aim of the game is to control the tiny cars on the track created on separate phones which become one when brought together.  The above pic shows three phone interconnecting the tracks but you can connect up to five devices together to run Racer. 

And to play this game you just need Chrome Browser installed on all the phones or tablets.  If you are interested to check out the new Google experiment go g.co/racer with your mobile devices and follow the instructions to set the game up. 

You only need to control these cars when they appear on your device’s screen. Touch the screen to accelerate and release the brake. You will require a bit of practice before can get hold of the controls.  This in fact is a decent experiment where one can just start   the game within a browser and play with his or her friends.

Chrome users will also like its earlier arcade style game called the Super Sync Sports.  The browser based games are a future which up to now has not been fully exploited.  So go play this one!  Google Play is already giving unlimited songs to its US users and with the Google Play Games hub coming soon, we have plenty to look forward to this summer!

ABRA-CA-BACON update from Rovio for Angry Birds Seasons for both iOS and Android

Angry Birds just got better with the launch of Angry Birds Friends and what is more it is free.  The game is similar to the old versions where you have to fling your birds to kill the pigs, however the Angry Birds Friends adds a social tinge to the game.  You can play the game and put your score on Facebook.  This way you have good healthy competition with your friends all the while playing a game.  Putting the score on Facebook also means that if you have Android and your friend has an iOS device, it doesn't matter because you will still be able to put up your scores. 

To make it more interesting the Angry Birds Friends will feature tournaments offering new levels every week. The interactive angle allows players to brag, send gifts, and invite Facebook friends to play. It comes with four classic power-ups, plus one exclusive to Angry Birds Friends on mobile. Cricket Mania comes to your mobile, Disney launches IPL Cricket Fever 2013 for Android devices and its FREE

In a country where cricket is a religion after God, Disney and Indiagames wants to cash in on the current fever engulfing all Indians, the Indian Premier League by launching a free game for Android devices called the IPL Cricket Fever 2013.  The beauty of the game it is turn based and you can play it with your friends or with any random player.

The game offers you the option to play as a guest or you can link your Facebook account to it.  Logging in with your Facebook account gives you more options than playing as a guest. You can also challenge your Facebook friends if you log in via Facebook.

MANUGANU another fast paced action game for Android devices

Manuganu is a 3D side- scroller running game for Android devices. After successful launch of Temple Run 2 for Android last month, Disney seems to have picked up from were Imangi Studios left of.  Yesterday Disney launched Temple Run OZ for both iOS and Android.  Priced at $0.99 (Rs.53.18) this game is sure to have you in frenzy.

The Temple Run : OZ is a run up from the Imangi Studios Temple Run II except for the fact that it is set in Oz.  This game has been launched to solve twin purpose, to give games another wonderful game and to publicize the latest Disney Film "OZ the Great and Powerful.  In the game you play the role of Great and Powerful and travel the yellow brick road.  In the meantime you have to avoid the flying monkeys, dangerous plants and get over some obstacles.
