Google Launched Assistant-infused messaging app

The long-awaited launch of Allo is finally here! Early this morning, Google launched its Allo website and then flipped the switch, making the appavailable through Google Play. If you still can’t download the app through Google Play, Google is promising that it will be available to you within the next “few days.” As with most major app launches, the availability of the app is slowly rolled out to all Google Play users in an effort to keep server load within controllable limits.

For those who are not willing to wait around, you can always grab the app through APK Mirror.

If you don’t already know, Allo is a new messaging app from Google which is tied to your phone number rather than your Google account. ON the surface, Allo is no different than WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger or even Google’s own Hangouts, but Allo’sdifferentiator is its integrations with Google Assistant – a new AI service from Google which will answer your questions or give you suggestions on the fly. Google Assistant lives within Allo as one of your contacts, but it can also jump into your other conversations, offering restaurant suggestions, direction, or other useful information which may be relevant to the conversation.
